DrawChat is a coloring page generator for parents and children. We take your privacy seriously and collect only what is needed to run the app. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
We collect only what is needed to operate DrawChat:
We do not use analytics SDKs, crash reporting SDKs, or advertising SDKs. We do not collect device identifiers, location data, or contact information beyond what is described above.
When you type a prompt, it is sent to Google Gemini (operated by Google LLC) to generate your coloring page image. Google processes this text on their servers to produce the image. Google's privacy policy applies to this processing: policies.google.com/privacy.
Your prompts are not stored by Google beyond the processing of each request. We store your prompts in Firestore only to display your generation history in the app gallery.
We use Sign in with Apple (provided by Apple Inc.) for account creation and login. Apple handles authentication and passes us an anonymous user identifier. We do not receive your Apple ID email address unless you choose to share it during sign-in.

Your account data (generation history and quota) is stored in Google Firestore. Google acts as a data processor under a Data Processing Agreement. Google's privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy.
Subscription management is handled by RevenueCat, Inc. RevenueCat processes your purchase and subscription state, and syncs your entitlement to our servers so we know which plan you are on. RevenueCat receives your device's purchase receipt from Apple or Google to validate your subscription.

Payment processing is handled directly by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) — we never receive your payment card details.
Your account data (generation history, quota records, subscription state) is retained for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account through the app's Settings screen, your Firebase Auth record and all associated Firestore data are permanently deleted within 30 days.
Firestore backups may retain data for up to 7 days after deletion as part of Google's standard backup rotation.

vandermeel.com is the data controller for personal data processed through DrawChat. The legal basis for processing is the performance of a contract (providing the app service you have requested).
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not share your personal information with third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising.
California residents have the right to know what personal information is collected, to request deletion, and to opt out of the sale of personal information (not applicable — we do not sell data). To exercise these rights, contact [email protected].
DrawChat is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information to us, please contact us at [email protected] and we will delete it promptly.
DrawChat is designed for parents to create coloring pages for their children. Any account must be created by a parent or guardian aged 13 or older.
